AI as a Junior Developer, Not a Replacement

There is a lot of fear and hype about AI replacing engineers. In my experience over the last year using Copilot and GPT-4, the dynamic is more like having a very fast, very confident intern. It’s great at boilerplate but dangerous with architecture. This article discusses how our code review process had to change: we now scrutinize AI-generated code more heavily for security flaws and hallucinations, not less.
